DR. PATRICK MOULTRIE, DC

Dr. Moultrie practices at our Mt. Pleasant chiropractic office. His interest in chiropractic began at a young age when he started developing chronic musculoskeletal pains after a sports injury.  His father, a 32 year veteran of the Detroit Police Department, was seeing a chiropractor for low back pains and decided to take him in for care.

With chiropractic care, Dr. Moultrie experienced improvement with his joint pains. After time, he began to realize chiropractic care was about more than symptoms. He noticed that he felt more energy during sports while under regular chiropractic care. He saw his chiropractor for regular visits year round, especially during the basketball seasons.

While doing career research during his sophomore year in high school, Dr. Moultrie interviewed his chiropractor and decided that chiropractic was what he wanted pursue as a career.

Dr. Moultrie graduated from Albion College in Southern Michigan with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology.  He also played basketball for the Britons of Albion College, competing in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA). The MIAA is America's oldest collegiate athletic conference.  Local Mount Pleasant area school, Alma College, is also a member the MIAA conference.

He went on to receive his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

After practicing in Grand Rapids for the past nine years, Dr. Moultrie moved to the central Michigan area to join Kehres Health & Chiropractic. He is a past provider for the Grand Valley Health Plan Integrative Holistic Health Program and believes collaboration with other healthcare providers is important to determine the most appropriate course of care for each case.

Dr. Moultrie is committed to providing conservative, specific, results-based chiropractic care.  In addition to traditional chiropractic manipulation techniques, Dr. Moultrie also uses functional nutrition, neuromuscular rehabilitation techniques and other adjunct therapies.
